Principle Introduction

Sodium hypochlorite hydrolyzes to hypochlorous acid. The hypochlorous acid reacts further to new ecological-oxygen. The new eco-oxygen has a very strong oxidation. So the disinfection mechanisms of NaClO include:
1.NaClO Oxidation: Hypochlorous acid that sodium hypochlorite hydrolyzes is not only can react with the cell wall, but also its molecular is small and is not charged. It is easy to invade cells and will have oxidation reaction with protein. It can destroy the phosphate dehydrogenase, make glucose metabolism disorder and lead to bacterial death.
2.Function of new eco-oxygen: New ecological-oxygen decomposed by hypochlorous acid will oxidize bacterial protein.
3.Oxidation: NaClO solution contains chlorine and protein. They will take place oxidation.
Electrolytic chlorine principle:
①Anode Reaction: 2C1--2e→ Cl2
②Cathode Reaction: 2H++2e → H2 ↑
③Hydrolysis Reaction: Cl2+H2O → HClO+ HCl
④Total Reaction: NaC1+ H2O+ (2F) = NaC1O+ H2 ↑
